Orson Welles had originally planned to produce, direct and star in this WWII spy drama, but due to prior commitments, he had to defer the director's chair to Norman Foster. Joseph Cotten plays an American engineer who's targeted for extermination by the Gestapo. Fleeing, Cotten secretly books passage on a steamer bound from Turkey to Batumi and encounters a host of unusual characters as he tries to outwit the Nazi assassin who stalks his every move. There is even toning throughout and small scuff marks, otherwise the window card is in terrific condition.
