American Window Card 14" x 22"

This was Douglas Fairbanks' biggest and most lavish production of the silent era. Fairbanks and his wife, Mary Pickford, began this big-budget medieval pageantry by constructing a near life-sized replica of a 12th-Century Nottingham castle! Known as the original swashbuckler, Fairbanks was at his acrobatic best, sliding down a two-story tapestry during one of the film's climatic moments. There is some foxing to the edges, minor bumps and very light smudges that hardly detract from the great eye appeal of this window card. This gorgeous stone litho window card features a colorful image of the dashing Fairbanks in one of his most popular roles.
