Regarded as one of Elvis Presley's best films, this musical presents Presley as a rebel imprisoned for accidentally killing a man. Behind bars, a friendly convict (Mickey Shaughnessy) convinces Presley to perform in the upcoming prison show. He likes it so much that he starts up a record label with a new love (Judy Tyler -- who would die in a traffic accident shortly after completing this film), but when success goes to his head, Elvis must learn a lesson in loyalty. The plot grows as thick as the Presley head of hair, and the songs swing like Presley on a prison pole. This six sheet has maintained great condition: the top edge has the slightest scuff on the right side, a central fold line has worn a bit, and several crossfolds have begun to separate. The borders are pristine, and the colors remain bright. Very Fine. This large format poster is exceedingly rare!
