One of the most popular cinematic characters is Zorro who was based upon a short story first published in 1919. By the following year, Douglas Fairbanks acquired the rights and produced a motion picture that allowed him to display his athletic prowess. The picture is legendary and considered to be one of Fairbanks' two masterpieces; along the "Thief of Bagdad." The right border was replaced through restoration. There was a five-inch tear in the bottom right side of the poster that went into the black background. There has been minor color touch to the fold lines and the borders around the poster. The poster now presents as Very Fine-, with a technical grade of Fine+ on Paper.
