Without a doubt, this is one of the strangest and creepiest film noir ever made, as Tom Neal picks up the hitch-hiker from hell in the form of Ann Savage. The film was directed by Edgar G. Ulmer who had previously solidified his reputation in demented horror by directing "The Black Cat." This one sheet had light fold wear and several tiny pin holes (including the image area) that have been professionally minimized during the linen-backing process.
