Regarded as one of Elvis Presley's best films, this musical presents Presley as a rebel imprisoned for accidentally killing a man. Behind bars, a friendly convict (Mickey Shaughnessy) convinces Presley to perform in the upcoming prison show. He likes it so much that he starts up a record label with a new love (Judy Tyler -- who would die in a traffic accident shortly after completing this film), but when success goes to his head, Elvis must learn a lesson in loyalty. The plot grows as thick as the Presley head of hair, and the songs swing like Presley on a prison pole. This insert poster sports a terrific image of "The King of Rock & Roll" and has colors that look as if they were just freshly printed! The poster has been professionally paper-backed to correct a few small imperfections, like a tiny spot of touch-up to the outline of the "o" in "Jailhouse" and several small edge tears. There appears to be no restoration whatsoever to the image area. These small flaws, mostly to the border area certainly do not detract from the overall visual appeal of this poster and really are only visible upon close inspection.
