This 1936 musical is the godfather of disaster epics and stars Clark Gable, Jeanette MacDonald and Spencer Tracy. The film is remembered today mostly for the superb special effects used to recreate the 1906 San Francisco earthquake in the final sequence. Tracy received a Best Actor Oscar nomination for his role. Posters for this film have always been scarce. This poster has had some color touchup to Gable's and MacDonald's faces and some work done to the title and areas of the background.
