American One Sheet 27" x 41"

Douglas Fairbanks stars as a well-to-do gent who heads out West to prove his worth and gets entangled with a man who's on the lam from a crooked sheriff. Fairbanks manages to vanquish the evil sheriff and his men with his usual flair and athletic prowess, not only saving the day, but also proving his worth and winning the girl (Marjorie Daw) as well. This would be Fairbanks' last picture for Paramount, having just formed United Artists with Mary Pickford, Charlie Chaplin and D. W. Griffith. This one sheet has edge wear with small tears, fold wear with small separations, a number of small corner and edge chips, and staining on the left edge. There is an extra vertical fold, a three-inch tear into Fairbanks' credit, and a small tear next to his ear. An exceedingly rare Fairbanks title to acquire material for, especially this, the "rotogravure" one sheet from the title. Fine+ on Linen.
