Joe E. Brown claimed he was the only youngster in show business whose parents encouraged him to join the circus, which he did at the age of ten. Throughout the late twenties and the thirties, the comedian with the infectious grin and a cavernous mouth was one of Hollywood's top money makers. He is best remembered for the role he did in the twilight of his career, as Osgood Fielding III in Billy Wilder's "Some Like It Hot". This is a rarity, a matched set of Styles A and B RKO half sheets. The sheets are rolled (which is a scarcity in itself). There are pinholes, mild corner bumps & minor creases, with slight border soiling. Wonderful artwork and bright color. Rolled, Very Fine.
