This was one of the last B Westerns John Wayne would make for Warner Brothers, and he stars, alongside his horse "Duke," as a U.S. Army captain who is sent to warn ranchers to register their land before a new group of settlers heads into the territory. He comes up against land swindler Donald Reed who has plans to steal the acreage himself. Ruth Hall stars as Wayne's love interest. This gorgeous stone litho poster is one of the finest from Wayne's early career, and it has been professionally restored to address a vertical tear in the left border, one in the bottom right corner, and a small chip in the left border.
