Former rodeo Champion Ken Maynard performed as a trick rider with Buffalo Bill and with the Ringling Brothers Wild West shows. He entered films in 1923, and soon rose to to be a western superstar, famous for the stunts he could perform on his famous horse "Tarzan". Maynard even taught a young John Wayne how to do stunts. There was light fold line wear, one tear on the left border that extends into the background art and corner pinholes that were gently and professionally repaired during the linen-backing process so that the poster presents as close to Near Mint. The poster offers a wonderful illustration of Maynard astride his famed steed.
