Dennis Hopper directed this independent production on a showstring budget, and created the most important biker film ever made. This film starred Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper and Jack Nicholson and was the catalyst for the youth revolution of the Hollywood film industry. It remains a classic depiction of the American counter-culture of the late sixties and early seventies. There were small border tears and light fold wear that was beautifully repaired during the linen-backing process and the poster presents as Near Mint. This large format Italian poster features a colorful portrait of Nicholson and also features a shot of Fonda and Hopper on their legendary choppers. This is one of the only posters to feature Nicholson and is outstanding.
