Gene Autry left Republic Pictures in a contract dispute after this film. As Republic's "singing cowboy" he was replaced by the young singer in this picture, Dick Weston. Weston's next picture was "Under Western Stars" under the name of Roy Rogers. Autry returned to the studio soon thereafter but found that he now had competition. This poster is a very scarce commodity for the Autry collector as it seldom shows up on the market. This colorful one sheet has a large chip out of the upper border and pinholes in the corners. There is slight fold separation at the edges. Fine+. This poster would greatly benefit from professional linen-backing and would most likely upgrade to Very Fine+ once done.
