Fred Zinnemann directed Burt Lancaster, Montgomery Clift, Frank Sinatra, Donna Reed and Deborah Kerr in this classic adaptation of James Jones' novel, "From Here to Eternity." The story is quite the melodrama set in Hawaii only days before the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. The film would weigh in heavily at the Oscars taking awards for Best Supporting Actor and Actress (Sinatra and Reed), Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Picture. Clift, Kerr and Lancaster were all nominated as well. Each of these cards has some minor defects. Some have pinholes in the borders while others have some light stains, small border tears, etc. Overall this set is in Fine.
